By accessing and using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

This website provides information about the clinical psychology services provided in a 100% online format by Oriana Sousa, a psychologist registered with the Portuguese Psychologists Association (OPP), Professional License No. 23744 and ERS Registration No. E174919.

Booking an appointment through the online form or calendar is subject to confirmation.

The reservation of your time slot is only guaranteed upon prior payment via bank transfer or MB Way:

• First Consultation: Payment must be made within 48 hours after booking.
• Follow-up Consultations: Payment must be made up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Failure to send proof of payment within the stipulated deadlines will result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation.

Sessions last between 50 and 60 minutes.

• Client Delay: The time slot is reserved exclusively for you. In case of a delay, the session will end at the scheduled time, with no compensation for the lost time.
• Psychologist Delay: If a delay occurs on the professional's part, the time will be fully compensated at the end of the session or at an agreed-upon time.

The success of therapy depends on a solid alliance and mutual respect for the reserved time.

• Cancellation with advance notice (>24h): Rescheduling incurs no extra costs, with the new slot dependent on the immediate payment of the session.
• Late cancellation (<24h) or no-show: This results in the total loss of the session's value, as the time slot was blocked and could not be offered to another person.

In situations of medical emergency, sudden illness, or the passing of significant persons, exceptions apply:

• Health reasons: Medical proof must be presented within 2 business days. If there is no proof for sudden acute illness, a 50% fee of the session's value will be applied as a schedule reservation fee, leaving the remaining 50% as credit for rescheduling.
• Bereavement or natural disasters: Rescheduling will be handled with the necessary flexibility and empathy, without penalty, requesting only prior notice as soon as possible.

The absence of bookings or any contact from the client for a period exceeding 30 days is considered abandonment of the clinical process.

In these cases, the fixed time slot in the schedule is released. Any subsequent resumption will be subject to the availability of slots and the updated fee schedule in effect at the time of the new contact.

As this is online therapy, it is the client's responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection and a private, safe physical space free from interruptions.

To guarantee strict compliance with professional secrecy, the security of the therapeutic space, and data protection for both parties, capturing images or recording (audio or video) the sessions is strictly prohibited.

All content on this website (texts, images, logos) is the property of Oriana Sousa. Its reproduction or commercial use without authorization is prohibited.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes to the fees for ongoing clinical sessions will be communicated to clients with a minimum notice of 2 months (60 days).

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Portuguese Law. Any dispute arising from the validity, interpretation, or execution of these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
