Individual Therapy (Adults)

A space entirely your own, focused on your process of personal development, self-knowledge, and emotional balance. In our online sessions, I provide a safe space of welcome and active listening, designed for you to explore your experiences and gain practical tools to work through challenges and moments of transition in a conscious, secure, and personalized way.

Moments when Individual Therapy can help you:

  • Anxiety and depression: For when constant worry, fear of the future, apathy, or profound sadness begin to interfere with your quality of life and daily routine.
  • Stress and burnout: Ideal for managing chronic overload (professional, personal, or family), redefining healthy boundaries, and recovering from mental and physical exhaustion.
  • Grief and significant losses (including anticipatory grief): A sensitive, safe space to work through the pain of loss (a family member, a pet, or other losses), or to support those already going through the demanding process of saying goodbye before the loss itself.
  • Adjusting to illness (chronic and/or rare): Specialized clinical support to embrace the emotional impact of a diagnosis, cope with uncertainty, and structure your quality of life.
  • Relational and interpersonal difficulties: Developing communication and self-acceptance tools to build more conscious, healthy, and balanced relationships with yourself and others.

Psycho-oncology

A diagnosis — or even the simple suspicion — of a cancer-related illness profoundly changes the structure of a person's life and the lives of those around them. In our online sessions, I provide a safe space of welcome and specialized clinical listening, designed for you to process the emotional impact of this experience, embrace vulnerability, and gain practical tools to navigate its different stages in a conscious, secure, and personalized way.

Moments when Psycho-oncology can help you:

  • Suspicion, hereditary risk, and initial diagnosis: Clinical support to process the emotional impact of receiving a diagnosis, manage the distress of a suspicion, or cope with the demands of genetic counselling.
  • Adjusting to the diagnosis and treatments: A space to take in the initial impact, work through the treatment options, and manage the physical and emotional toll of each stage of treatment.
  • Anxiety around exams (scanxiety) and appointments: Practical strategies to manage the distress, uncertainty, and peak of anxiety that precede appointments, follow-up exams, or the demanding wait for clinical results.
  • Changes in the body, self-image, fertility, and sexuality: Clinical support to embrace and integrate the physical changes caused by the illness and its treatments, redefining self-care, addressing the impact on sexuality, and supporting decisions about fertility preservation.
  • Communication and family support: A space dedicated to easing more open and safe communication with those around you, reducing emotional loneliness and supporting family and caregivers without creating feelings of guilt.
  • Transition to post-treatment life (“survivorship”), long-term effects, and fear of recurrence: Specialized support through the complex phase of returning to daily life, addressing the management of physical or emotional after-effects, side effects and associated losses, as well as anxiety about the risk of recurrence.
